Hi, my name’s Jacob.

Before Forge, I spent years working in aged care and disability support. Every day, I worked alongside people who wanted one simple thing, to move better, feel stronger, and stay independent for as long as possible.

I saw firsthand how quickly mobility, balance, and confidence can decline when movement becomes difficult. Many of the people I cared for weren’t lazy or unmotivated, they were dealing with joint pain, poor circulation, muscle loss, or fatigue that made traditional exercise intimidating or simply unrealistic.

What struck me most was how much difference gentle, consistent movement could make.

During my time in care, I was introduced to vibration-based therapy as a low-impact way to stimulate muscles, improve circulation, and support balance. I watched people who struggled with walking or standing regain confidence through short, manageable sessions. Even small improvements, less leg swelling, better stability, faster recovery, had a huge impact on daily life.

That experience changed how I viewed fitness and health.

I realised you don’t need intense workouts or crowded gyms to improve your wellbeing. You need tools that work with your body, tools that support circulation, muscle activation, recovery, and mobility without adding strain or pressure.

I also realised how many Aussies feel the same way, too sore, too busy, or too uncomfortable to stick with traditional exercise. So I set out to build a range of home-based wellness products that are simple to use, effective, and accessible at any stage of life.

It took time, testing, and learning from real people, but I eventually built a lineup I’m genuinely proud of, starting with the Forge Plate.
